Rachel trained as an actor at WAPPA in Australia and graduated in 1997. She has worked professionally since the age of 12. 

In the UK, Rachel makes her own work as Still Point. Her new solo piece, The Art of Catastrophe, directed by and devised with Emma Roberts, was developed with The Nightingale Theatre and premiered at the Brighton Fringe Festival in May 2008. The Art of Catastrophe will play again at the Nightingale on the 23rd and 24th of July 2008. Other experience includes playing Narrator for the Sydney Gamelan Orchestra’Äôs adaptation of The Bannishment of Sekar Taji at the Sydney Opera House, Elizabeth Proctor in Marion Pott’Äôs page to stage version of The Crucible at the Sydney Theatre Company and playing Charra in Matrix Revolutions (see clip below). she has also appeared in many guises on film, TV, stage and radio.

In 2001 her TRS developed solo piece, Aperture won ’Äòbest script’Äô in The Big competition for Little Scripts and was later commisioned for adaptation on ABC Radio National.
