The Art of Catastrophe is a collaboration between director Emma Roberts (Shaping the Invisible), technician Geoff Hense (Meeting Joe Strummer) and producer, Sally Christopher (Nabakov) it is a black comedy about the struggle to love inspired by an ongoing fascination with Roland Barthes, ’ÄòA Lover’Äôs Discourse’Äô.

The Art of Catastrophe premiered at the Nightingale Theatre in the Brighton Fringe Festival in May 2008 to very positive critical acclaim.
